Third grade school journal:
Once upon a time, a turtle was being held inside a turtle pound. He hated it there. One day, he decided to escape. That night, He had alot of truble escapeing. He acidintly hit his shell on one of the bars. Then after walking awhile,he came to a cliff. “There’s no other way to go. I’ll have to jump!” After going a long way down, he landed in a ditch. “That was close”, he thought. “Now to Africa!” He said.
Once he got to Africa, he climbed up a tall tree, pulled a knife out of his shell, and cut off all of the elephant’s tusks! It was difficult, but he did it. The he foun a lemon on the ground and ate it. Then he sold all the elphants tusks and made alot of money. It took him alot of arithmetic to figure out how much money he made. “I’ve made 1,million dollars!” He thought. Then, he walked some more until he came to a rope bridge. “I can either jump or walk across”, He thought. “I’ll walk across”. And that he did.
Then he came to a shopping place. There were lots of other animals there. Some had long necks, and some had a short neck. Some were fast and some were slow. He could get a music lesson, he could get his shell magnified, he could get his temperature checked, he could buy a drill, he could buy a fable book, or he could get his beliefs checked. Then he discovered some thing underneath him. It was a note. It said: Dear Mr. Turtle, Your wife expects you home. You better get going!
From,
Prof. Girrafe. P.S. Did you finish your jurny? Then he left The store and went home.
